Well picked up the fenders from paint shop today. Turned out not too bad, paint is a little off but it will have to do as I can't afford to do the whole car. Started assembly after dinner.

No the car is sublime..... or a version of it? Looks dead on with florescent lighting but in low sunlight it looks like it needed a touch more yellow. I built the fenders with a half inch spacer behind the wheels , I just tonight took them out so I have about 3/4" clearance. Also adjusted the T-bars up one full turn as the new tires are shorter than the old ones. It's a mad thrash trying to get it all ready to drive to Carlisle. I think I'll have it done in a day or so. Then I'll have to dial in the shocks for street driving. Fender decals go on tomorrow. Just finished adjusting the headlights. Never done that before .

Wide fenders look good! Panel matching paint is no easy deal. We just went through this on a Limelight 70 Roadrunner. I sent the paint back 4 times before to was good enough to shoot.

I missed you at the track this year... in fact I missed everyone. Every time I stopped in over there, there was nobody around. Just bad timing...
Cool little vid though, sorry I missed it... thanks for posting the link!

Hey Brad, I don't know if you read Bangshift.com, but I popped onto the site this morning and was surprised to recognize the car they had as the front page image:

Your car sure is getting a lot of attention - those fenders and rims were a sweet addition!

Cool, thanks for the link. Like I said I expected more negative remarks than positive ones. I'm surprised!
