    Sorry I haven't been here for a long while, I move the build over to Cuda Challenger http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/in...topic=108127.0

    That said, I painted the car last night, turned out pretty good but still needs to be cut and buffed.

    HI all, sorry to have been absent so long. As I stated above I moved my build over to CC.com, however I sincerely like this site better for all of the innovation and lack of "correct part number" type crowd. I will hopefully get back to the Cuda soon, however as always I have become distracted as I decided to put an EFI 6 pack onto my 70 Challenger. That is still going on but getting closer to be done, although it has been quite the learning curve. I was considering putting a build thread on here as I think this crowd can more appreciate the fabrication of the install.

    Well it has been a long time since I was back here. Since then I have gotten quite far with the Cuda, just got the windshield installed and all the door glass in and adjusted. I still need to get the back window in though. I am almost done with the wiring and then its onto exhaust, I very close to trying to start it. On a related note, I spent some time with the Challenger and its starting and running very well.

    Thought Id pop in and post an update. I finally got the wiring sorted out (mostly), I ran into a few issues;

    1. the FAST ECU isn't turning on (grounding) the fuel pump. I need to investigate that some more to see what the deal is. I have a manual switch for the pump which does work, so I think I can at least try and get it started.
    2. Have an issue with the blinkers not working, part of it was due to a grounded wire in the column, I ended up replacing that wire but haven't reinstalled the column. I am running LED bulbs throughout so that might be an issue.

    I moved on and got the exhaust installed, had to make some pretty creative tailpipes to get the rear exhaust I wanted.

    I think moved on to bleed the brakes, this has turned into quite the fiasco.. Initially I had quite a few leaks, as I worked through them I discovered that the combination valve wasn't allowing fluid to go to the rears, so I removed the valve and took it apart. Unfortunately I had to use heat to get it apart and that destroyed one of the internal seals as it now leaks out the top of the metering valve stem. So, I have ordered a new/different valve and am waiting on that.
